A cytohistopathological study of a case of an adamantinoma of a long bone with squamous differentiation in a thirty five year old female is presented. Predominant squamous differentiation leads to a diagnostic dilemma with metastatic carcinoma on cytological smears. Proper clinical and radiological correlation may help in a definitive diagnosis. Adamantinoma with prominent squamous differentiation is rare and these patients have low recurrence rates.
